Alan Fletcher

Alan Fletcher was a partner in his family's company, Crosby Fletcher Forbes. The company was founded by Theo Crosby and Colin Forbes, Architect and Designer, respectively. Their clients were medium-sized.

He went on to become "one of the most influential figures in British graphic design," as he founded his own companies Fletcher/Forbes/Gill in 1960's and Pentagram in 1970's.

He was also the creative director of Phaidon, allowing him to make his mark on book design.
